- EHSTRAFD As Organization

EHSTRAFD is a non-profit organization publicly expressed by the website with the same name www.ehstrafd.org, which was founded and developed by Stanciu Florin and his coworkers, starting with the end of 2008. Its purpose arise from its taxonomic name - promotion, operation and development of a database with STR genetic markers allele frequencies specific for human species, representative at the planetary level.

- EHSTRAFD As Database

EHSTRAFD is a database whose existence is due to the scientific literature trend in publishing data in a standardized manner. In this respect can be exemplified the efforts of editors such as Lincoln P, Carracedo A. and others, to systematize population data by specific categories (e.g. Population, Extraction, PCR, Typing, Results and so on...).

- EHSTRAFD As Population Genetics Project

EHSTRAFD is after all a project, born from the simple idea of creating a research framework, based on technologies provided by the web development. Starting from the desktop environment, this framework has been transposed online, in such a way that, students, scientists, researchers or any interested person, could benefit from it.
